Whether you’re a skilled player or are just learning the game, several golf courses around San Diego offer good times for everyone. Here are three courses near our Mission Valley apartments you’ll definitely want to try:

Coronado Golf Course

The Coronado Golf Course began welcoming players in 1957. Today it’s one of the country’s best public courses. A par 72 course, it stretches 6,590 yards from the blue tees. Throughout, you’ll find hideaways, dramatic harbor views, and strategically placed sand traps sure to provide a challenge or two. You can book a tee time online, by phone, or in person.

Tecolote Canyon Golf Course

Don’t miss playing a round at the Tecolote Canyon Golf Course. It’s the only one in San Diego designed by golf legends Sam Snead and Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The course offers an exciting tee-to-green experience, and hazards add challenges on nearly every hole. To practice before teeing off, warm up at the onsite driving range, complete with practice bunkers and greens.

Mission Bay Golf Course

Unique from other golf courses around San Diego, Mission Bay Golf Course is the only one in the city with night lighting. A Ted Robinson design, this course is also where Tiger Woods won a Junior World title. Stretching 46 acres, this 18-hole course boasts four par-four holes and fourteen par-three holes. Along the way, you will find towering trees, well-maintained fairways, and gently rolling hills. Weather permitting, Mission Bay offers tee times between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Visitors can also practice at the driving range or enjoy a fun round of disc golf or footgolf.
