Two people shopping | The Headquarters at Seaport

Explore Local Shops & Restaurants at The Headquarters at Seaport

What was once the San Diego Police Department headquarters is now a bustling destination that welcomes thousands of visitors every year. It’s called The Headquarters at Seaport, and it boasts an eclectic mix of specialty shops and world-class restaurants. Here are some of the businesses you can discover near our Mission Valley apartments:

CoCo Rose

When mother and daughter Shannon and Eileen traveled to Bali, they had no idea it would spark their entrepreneurial spirit. That’s how CoCo Rose was born. The shop provides a fun tropical fashion. They offer something for every style, selecting each piece during their return trips to Bali. The unique designs create jobs for Balinese artists. You’ll always find new items, whether for work or play. Choices include dresses, tops, and jumpsuits.

Fair World

At Fair World, you’ll purchase with a purpose. A popular shop at The Headquarters at Seaport, Fair World offers a carefully curated selection of ethically sourced gifts crafted by hand. Every product is fair trade, and each sale supports the shop in helping “communities grow together with better living standards.” The collection includes baskets, jewelry, and hand-carved chess sets.

Puesto

Puesto is where the Adler family shares their love of tacos. They’re first-generation Mexican-Americans and frequently travel to Mexico City to help inspire their creativity in their cooking. The tacos feature organic handmade corn tortillas. Customer favorites include filet mignon, lamb barbacoa, and chicken al pastor. Be sure to visit the restaurant on Taco Tuesday, when you can enjoy discounts on tacos and Puesto drafts from 3:00 p.m. to close.

After spending the day at The Headquarters at Seaport, relax at home with a bestseller from a local bookstore. When you’re ready to become a resident of West Park, please contact us. Our leasing team will personally show you all that our San Diego pet-friendly apartments have to offer.
